About

Kristen Reinhart Davis creates everypiece by hand using traditional metalsmithing techniques. She has had the opportunity to experience art in many forms from sewing, to painting, to pottery, to decorating wedding cakes. All of which have influenced Kristen's creative eye and sense of detail for the pieces she created.

She has long been a fan of clean lines and strong colors. Influences include Frank Lloyd Wright, Picasso, and Mondrian.

A native Louisvillian, all pieces are created by Kristen, in her studio, located in the quaint little town of New Albany, IN.

Artist's Statement

In a world full of mass produced uniformity, Kristen Davis sees every piece of jewelry she creates as an individual statement. For her, each piece has her full, undivided attention as it’s created, freezing a moment in time, and an idea in glass or metal. For her clients, their decision on which piece suits them best says something about where they are at that moment in their lives.

Every piece Kristen designs and creates is unique, just as every moment is unique.

Being Green

Kristen is passionate about many things, including the environment. She's a big fan of the 'Great Outdoors' and would like to keep them as such.

Some of the ways she remains eco-friendly are:

• Using recycled sterling silver and recycled glass in her work

• Recycling all paper products within the studio, as well as metal

• All polishing and sanding done by hand
